Purezza

Class:R. banksiae hybrid, Climber
Bloom:White
Size:15 - 20 ft. tall
Introduced:1961
I recently acquired this rose, and although I cannot describe it from experience, it certainly sounds interesting. A thornless, reblooming, fragrant climber - essentially a reblooming Lady Banks. The parentage is reported to be R. banksiae lutescens (the single Yellow Lady Banks) crossed with the red micro-miniature Tom Thumb - how fascinating! The name is Italian for 'Pearl' named for the buds that resemble pearls. Zones 7-9.
