Penelope

Class:Hybrid Musk
Bloom:Light pink/apricot blend
Size:6 - 8 ft. tall
Introduced:Pemerton, 1924
With a traffic-stopping display of roses in spring and generous rebloom, Penelope is a rose that draws attention. It grows rather large, with strong arching canes covered with sprays of large single roses that start a light pink and fade to pale peach and white. As the blossoms fade during the first spring bloom, Penelope offers an especially wonderful display of delicate colors. Need more? It's resistant to disease. Zones 6-10.
