Old Blush

Class:China
Bloom:Medium pink
Size:4-6 ft. tall
Introduced:1752
Old Blush was the first reblooming China rose brought to Europe and was one of the most important parents of the reblooming roses we know today. The lightly-scented flowers are double and loosely cupped. Old Blush is perpetually in bloom. If left unpruned in late fall, it bears sweet orange hips, but we would rather deadhead and prompt more blooms instead, as Old Blush blooms right up until the first frost. Also known as Parsons Pink China, Common Monthly, and a bunch of other names. Zones 7-9.
