Gruss an Aachen

Class:Floribunda
Bloom:Medium pink
Size:3 - 4 ft. tall
Introduced:Geduldig, 1909
Gruss an Aachen is a floribunda that should be in every garden. It is compact, has good rebloom, is resistant to disease, and tolerates some shade. The flowers are fragrant, very double, and beautifully-formed. When first open, the flowers are light pink with tinges of brighter pink. They slowly fade to a creamy ivory. Color varies with the weather, so each new flush of blooms is always a bit of a surprise. Zones 5-9.
