| Considered a likely seedling of Mutabilis, Bermuda's Kathleen certainly resembles that rose but has a charm all its own. The 2-3 inch flowers have 5-10 petals in various shades from light to medium pink. Each spray of roses is held slightly above the foliage and when this rose in is bloom, which is often, the shrub is covered in an incredible number of flowers. Tiny hips follow the roses, so it is best to deadhead promptly. It takes a little time to do this with so many flowers, but it is a small price to pay for such a wonderful rose. |
