Hybrid Musk Roses

Hybrid Musk roses were bred in England in the early 1900's and have a common ancestry in the species rose Rosa moschata (the musk rose). They are vigorous, disease-resistant shrubs with long arching canes, and are usually large at 4-8 ft. tall and wide. Flowers are single to double, produced generously in large fragrant clusters. These roses have good resistance to disease and recover quickly on their own from the occasional touch of mildew. Hybrid Musk roses repeat bloom reliably during the growing season and make attractive free-standing shrubs, hedges and additions to garden beds if given ample space.
