Questions About Our Roses

What size plants do you ship?

Plants are shipped in nursery-size 1 quart pots that are 4-inches wide and 5-inches deep. This size is larger than a band. Top growth varies with the type of rose, but is generally between 6 inches to 1 foot tall.

How long will it take your plants reach full size?

It usually takes a rose about 2 to 3 years to reach maturity.

Are your roses grafted?

No, they are grown on their own roots.

What are the advantages of own-root roses?

Own-root roses have a more natural growth habit and can recover from freezes or other injury so long as the roots are viable.

Are your roses bareroot?

No, they are shipped in pots.

Do you guarantee your roses?

Our roses are guaranteed to arrive healthy. If there is a problem, please notify us within 7 days of arrival. Since we cannot control the growing conditions outside the nursery, we cannot replace or refund plants beyond this initial period. If a plant is found to be mislabelled, we will replace it or refund your money..
