| Customers occasionally send me photos of their gardens, and they are so inspiring that I wanted to share
them, so we are going to try something new. Every few weeks we'll feature a photo of a garden
scene for all of us to enjoy. Please send me any photos showcasing your roses in a garden setting, identify the roses if you wish, and we'll select some to include in our gallery. |
Emily HipchenEmily cut this beautiful Blossomtime rose from a new plant. It may take 3 years for a rose to reach maturity, but the waiting is much easier when you get flowers like this in the meantime.

Margaret LashbrookMargaret Lashbrook from Owensboro, KY sent theses great pictures of roses in her garden. To the left is Clothilde Soupert. This plant was started from a cutting given to Margaret by a 90-year old friend who got it from her mother. A true antique! To the right is a fairy (polyantha) rose, probably Lovely Fairy, combined with Larkspur - what a lovely color combination! Next, a Ballerina rose growing with part shade from the dogwood tree next to it. Last, a Jeanne Lajoie rose looking very pretty.
