About Us

Countryside Roses offers own-root antique and modern roses, specializing in roses that do well in the south. Our plants are rooted and grown from stock plants of known provenance grown in our own garden, which is open to visitors. This provides an opportunity to see many of the roses we sell at their mature size and shape.

We appreciate any feedback you have to offer. Let us know if we can do anything to improve our customer service, as we want our service to be as good as our roses.

Our roses are certified by the Mississippi Dept. of Agriculture to be free of diseases and pests.

Contact Us

The easiest way to contact us is by e-mail at mail@countrysideroses.com. We try to answer e-mail every day so you should receive a prompt response, but sometimes we do fall a bit behind, especially in spring. If you do not receive a reply after two days, please check your Spam folder to see if your spam filter is redirecting our mail there. If our response is not there, please send your message again. Like all online businesses, we receive a tremendous amount of spam and suffer the occasional computer glitch, so your message may have been lost. You may also write to us at the address below.

This is a part-time, mostly one-person operation, so we prefer that you email rather than call. If you do need to call, the best time to reach me (Lisa) by phone is 8-9 p.m. If you leave a message, please speak slowly, leave your name, phone number, and your invoice number if you are asking about a current order. I may not be able to call back until the weekend, but I will try to return your call.

The Nursery

TOUR THE GARDEN AND NURSERY

During spring and fall you can visit our garden by appointment. Since Katrina we have had to cease local sales due to a lack of local business, but we have mail-order size roses and a small selection of perennials for sale.

Directions

The nursery is 5 miles south of I-10 on Menge Ave. in Pass Christian (Exit 24), which is between Diamondhead and Gulfport, MS. From I-10, take the Menge Ave. exit south. You will drive over a bridge that spans the Wolf River and come to a 3-way stop at Red Creek Road. Past that, you will come to a 4-way stop at Woodland Way and Pineville Road. The Pineville Elementary School is at the corner of this intersection. The nursery is just past the turn in the road and the wooded area on the left.

If you are coming from Hwy. 90 along the beach, the nursery is 2 miles north on the right, just past the old white Pineville Presbyterian Church.
