HURRICANE KATRINA - AUG. 29, 2005

What can I say, but Yuck! The pool pump is broken and the pool needs serious renovation, but we haven't yet been able to get anyone to do it. Charles pumped out the water and cleaned out the storm debris and mud, then refilled it halfway, where it now sits spawning new forms of life from a primordial soup. Maybe next summer...sigh.
