HURRICANE KATRINA - AUG. 29, 2005

The following pages show pictures of our home and nursery on Menge Ave. in Pass Christian, Mississippi, taken the day before the hurricane, and the next afternoon when the hurricane was over. This view is of the front of our 100+ year-old house. Our two largest live oak trees lost much of their canopy, but our 100-year old live oak split and had to be removed, as well as about half of our other large trees. Our shaded homesite is now mostly sunny.
